If you do not agree with these Terms, you should discontinue use of the relevant website services.
2. About the National Rescue Movement
The National Rescue Movement is a political party in the Federal Republic of Nigeria committed to democratic participation, national unity, social justice, accountability, responsible leadership and constitutional governance.
The party's guiding principles and political objectives are set out in its Constitution, Manifesto and Rescue Nigeria Blueprint.
The website provides information about the party and supports membership registration, communications, events, candidate information, payments and related administrative services.
3. Website Access and Permitted Use
Visitors may access publicly available information, including party news, publications, programmes, events, leadership information and policy documents.
Users agree to use the website lawfully, respectfully and in a manner consistent with its intended purposes.
Users must not:
- Attempt to access accounts or information without authorisation.
- Submit false, misleading or fraudulent registration information.
- Interfere with website security or normal operation.
- Introduce malicious software or conduct unauthorised automated attacks.
- Impersonate party officials, members or other individuals.
- Misuse personal information obtained through the platform.
- Publish threatening, defamatory, discriminatory or unlawful material.
NRM may restrict access where necessary to protect users, information or the integrity of its services.
4. Membership Eligibility and Registration
Membership of NRM is governed by its Constitution, including Article 5.
Under the Constitution, membership is open to eligible Nigerian citizens who satisfy the prescribed requirements, including the minimum age of 18 years, non-membership of another political party, individual application, registration at the appropriate polling unit, payment of prescribed fees and acceptance of the party's Constitution and decisions.
Applicants must provide accurate and complete information.
Submitting an online application or creating a website account does not, by itself, establish that an applicant has satisfied every constitutional requirement for membership.
Membership registration, approval, documentation and status remain subject to the Constitution and authorised party procedures.
5. Membership Accounts
Registered users may receive access to a personal membership dashboard.
Members are responsible for:
- Maintaining accurate and current profile information.
- Keeping usernames and passwords confidential.
- Protecting access to their accounts.
- Notifying the party of suspected unauthorised access.
- Using their accounts only for legitimate purposes.
NRM may require additional verification or temporarily restrict an account where necessary to address security concerns or confirm membership information.
6. Membership Fees and Payments
Membership registration, renewals and other applicable payments are subject to the party's approved fee schedule.
The website currently supports the following configurable fees:
- New membership registration: ₦1,000.
- Membership renewal: ₦600.
These amounts may be changed by authorised party officials. The amount displayed through the official payment process at the time of payment will apply, subject to any approved party rules.
Online payments may be processed through authorised third-party payment providers, including Paystack.
Members must provide accurate transaction information and must not submit fraudulent payment references.
Payment confirmation may require automated verification or administrative review.
Refunds, reversals, duplicate payments and disputed transactions will be considered under applicable law, payment-provider rules and any formally approved NRM refund policy. These Terms do not establish a blanket no-refund rule.
7. Membership Activation and Cards
Creating an account does not automatically entitle an applicant to active membership or a membership card.
The NRM Constitution provides for membership cards and identifies information including the member's name, photograph, registration number and signature. It also establishes relevant membership registration and endorsement procedures.
Membership cards will be issued in accordance with the Constitution and the party's approved administrative process, including applicable payment, verification and authorisation requirements.
Members must not alter, forge, duplicate for fraudulent purposes or transfer their membership cards to another person.
A digital membership card does not override constitutional membership requirements or decisions made through the party's authorised processes.
8. Membership Records and Transfers
The party maintains membership records through its organisational structure, including polling unit, ward, LGA, state and national levels.
Members may be required to provide or update information necessary to maintain accurate records.
Requests to transfer membership between polling units or other relevant jurisdictions will be handled in accordance with the Constitution and approved procedures.
9. Membership Rights, Obligations and Discipline
Membership rights, obligations, eligibility for party office, disciplinary procedures and termination of membership are governed by the NRM Constitution and applicable party rules.
These Terms of Use do not replace the Constitution or create additional grounds for expulsion.
Any membership disciplinary action must follow the applicable constitutional and lawful procedures.
10. News, Events and Political Information
The website may publish party announcements, news, candidate profiles, events, policy statements, speeches, interviews and campaign information.
NRM seeks to provide accurate and timely information but may correct, update or remove content when appropriate.
Publication of a person's name, photograph or statement on the website does not necessarily constitute endorsement of every personal opinion expressed by that individual.
Official party decisions and authorised announcements should be distinguished from commentary, proposals and third-party material.
11. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, the website's original text, graphics, branding, designs and other content belong to NRM or are used with appropriate permission.
Visitors may view, share and reference publicly available party materials for lawful informational, educational and political engagement purposes, subject to applicable copyright law and any specific permissions attached to the material.
Users must not falsely represent modified content as an official party statement or use NRM branding to impersonate authorised party representatives.
Third-party photographs, videos and other materials remain subject to their respective owners' rights.
12. User Submissions and Communications
Users may submit enquiries, registration information, feedback and other permitted content.
By submitting material, users confirm that they are entitled to provide it and that it does not violate applicable laws or the rights of others.
NRM may use submitted information for the purpose for which it was provided, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
NRM may remove unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or inappropriate submissions.
13. Privacy and Personal Information
NRM collects and processes personal information as described in its Privacy Policy.
Membership information is intended for authorised party administration and must not be accessed, exported, published or used for unrelated purposes without proper authority.
Users and administrators with access to personal information must respect applicable confidentiality and data protection requirements.

NRM does not control independent third-party websites and is not responsible for their content or operations.
16. Website Availability and Security
NRM seeks to maintain a reliable and secure website. However, access may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance, technical failures, security incidents or circumstances beyond the party's reasonable control.
NRM may update, suspend or modify website functionality when necessary.
Users should report technical problems or suspected security vulnerabilities through official contact channels rather than attempting unauthorised testing or exploitation.
17. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Website information is provided for general informational and administrative purposes.
NRM will take reasonable steps to maintain accurate information and reliable services but does not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, NRM will not be responsible for losses arising solely from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or limits rights where doing so would be unlawful.
18. Relationship to the NRM Constitution
The NRM Constitution remains the governing document for party membership, organisation, rights, obligations, discipline and internal decision-making.
These website Terms are intended to regulate the use of NRM's digital services, not to amend or override the party Constitution.
Where an inconsistency arises concerning internal party governance, the applicable provisions of the Constitution and Nigerian law will govern.
19. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Website-related concerns should first be communicated to NRM through its official contact channels where appropriate.
Internal party membership disputes remain subject to the procedures established by the NRM Constitution and applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms removes rights or remedies available under Nigerian law.
20. Amendments to These Terms
NRM may update these Terms to reflect changes in website functionality, applicable law, party administration or approved operational procedures.
Updated Terms will be published on the website with a revised effective date.
Continued use of the website after publication of revised Terms may constitute acceptance to the extent permitted by law. Material changes requiring additional consent will be handled accordingly.
